While we do not accept returns for reasons of preference or change of mind, we are committed to resolving any genuine concerns with damaged or incorrect deliveries.
General Terms
All sales are final. Orders once placed cannot be cancelled.
No Preference-Based Returns: Products cannot be returned or exchanged due to dislike or a change of mind.
Review Before Buying: We request you to review all product descriptions, dimensions, materials, and finishes carefully before placing your order to ensure it aligns with your expectations.

Eligibility for Return / Replacement
Your purchase is eligible for return or replacement only under the following conditions:
Incorrect Product: The product received does not match your order.
Damaged Product: The product is damaged upon delivery.
How to Report an Issue
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, you must follow these steps:
Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
Mandatory Proof: You must record an unboxing video and share clear photos of the issue.

Upon verification of your claim:
A replacement will be initiated.
If the item is unavailable, we will issue a store credit of the same value.
Note: Refunds are issued only for verified damaged products when a replacement is unavailable.
Conditions for Return / Exchange
If your product is approved for return, please ensure the following:
Unused Condition: The product must be entirely unused.
Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, along with all labels, tags, barcodes, and the invoice.
Secure Packing: Items must be packed securely to prevent transit damage.
Quality Check: Once the product reaches us, it will undergo a quality check to validate the claim.
If the claim is found to be invalid or the product fails the verification check upon return, return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
Resolution Timeline
Once a return is approved:
Replacement: Dispatched within 2–3 business days, subject to availability.
Store Credit: If the item is unavailable, a store credit will be issued (valid for 30 days).
Return Shipping Costs
Company Liability: If the return is due to damage or an incorrect product sent by us, Shelved Stories will cover the return shipping cost.
Customer Liability: If the complaint is found to be invalid after inspection, return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
Refunds
Refunds are processed only for verified damaged products when a replacement is unavailable.
Processing Time: Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
Reflection: The amount will reflect in your bank account or credit card statement as per your bank’s timeline.
